Justin and I are doing a <a href="https://branksomeandbangkok.wikispaces.com/" rel="nofollow">collaborative wiki project</a> with HS kids between Toronto and Bangkok. I'd love to get suggestions after this session on what works well in using and promoting student collaboration on it. I guess I can wait until you get here! On a side note, there was a good article posted by the Economist on Wikipedia. Worth sharing with your teachers, perhaps?
