Hi Kim,

I would love to get our 4th grade gifted & talented kids into this loop, I will be in touch!

BTW how are you going about creating the accounts? Do students have individual ones? The Voicethread TOS says age 13 & up only unless the account was created by an adult and they have permission, I'm presuming you did/do the latter?

I'm following a similar approach with Animoto, we are putting together our Grade 3 weather forecast rock videos today, using "lab" accounts that don't personally identify the students.

Just wondering how the not-being-personally-identified impacts student engagement, if at all.

Hope all is well with you - enjoying the K12Online Conference too, I see!

I've encouraged our 4th grade teachers to participate so I hope you will have a school from Willard, Missouri listed in your wiki soon. Great project idea. Can't wait to see the voicethreads.

We just started our voicethreads today too! It's going to be slow going, as I have one microphone.

I am curious where you are getting pictures from. I brought my digital camera in and the kids are taking pictures with it. However, they wanted to take pictures of the book/pictures in the book. In light of Wes's post

this appears to be legal, but might not make others happy.

However, I don't know if flickr is a safe option. So, just curious what you were having your kids do ..

Looking forward to getting some voicethreads up!
